Keil Miller grew up in La Jolla and lived in Cardiff for a while and is now back in La Jolla. He is a freelance writer, substitute teacher, traveler and charger who grew up surfing Black's, La Jolla Reefs and the entire coast of California.

Keil was the one who did an article on our Enjoy Handplanes project for WaveLines. When he did the article he borrowed my personal handplane and took it for a spin. I was curious how he would like it being more surfer then bodysurfer. As it turns out he was so stoked on it that a few weeks ago he ordered his own.

I think the coolest thing that I've noticed is this project is the level of surfers like Keil who have found us and have been drawn to what we make and ultimately why we make them. Guys or girls that have been surfing a long time really appreaciate not just how we make these little beauties but how much fun they have body surfing with them. In Keils case it was really a complement that a writer comes back to you after he was basically hired to do a job to want one of his own.

Thanks again Keil for the great write up, supporting us and for being stoked on what are doing! That means a lot to us for sure.

Hmmm Fins

This one went off to Hans in the Netherlands. Ordered for a tropical vacation he has planed this spring to get some warm water barrels. I really like it. Kipp did a great job on the fins. *Enjoy

Mexi Rainbow @ Surfy Surfy

If you like color and you like mexi blankets you will like this one. Go check it out at Surfy Surfy.

One of my all time favorite

Every now and then I walk into the shop and see Kipp laying down some color and my jaw drops. The stuff that comes from his mind to the glass blows me away. This is one of those special ones that is so unique and deferent then anything else we have ever done it just makes me stop and stare at it for a while and get lost.

Kipp, well done my friend, you out did yourself this time. *Enjoy

Michael T. Brown

I got this from our friend Mike on the east coast. The east coast crew is devoted. I’m impressed for sure.

“Me and my yellow maxi after last night's snowstorm. Head and clean, but real windy, offshore. Rode my stand up for about an hour and got some fun rides, but then I had a blast with the yellow maxi until I was freezing. Looks flat in the back ground, but it was chest- head high and some great rides. Only 4 guys out.
